So we finally did it! We both retired and have hit the road in out brand new Crossroads Rushmore Fifth wheel. Our first official landing was only 14 miles from our home at the state park. After about a week there we ventured to Ocala Florida and had the time of our lives. We planned on staying there for almost two weeks but then a change in plans we ended up in Georgia.
We are slowly headed back to Myrtle Beach to have some repairs done to our new home. Traveling with us is our little 7 month old puppy. He is a great traveler and so far has only had two mistakes in the house.
It certainly is a different lifestyle for me, I am so used to going to work and keeping busy. At the present time, I am now trying to find things to do to take up some time. Playing scrabble on my iphone has been one very addicting pass time, and loading photos onto shutterfly has been another pass time. If I wasn't so affraid I would spend time at the creek in this campground looking to possibly see a gator.
I do have a bike guess I could ride it, It just has been so very hot I have taking up being a couch potato. That seems to be working out fine for me.
I created this blog in hopes I will find the time, and energy to work on it. Keep checking in I will try to add some photos.
